COMPLETE NDT TOGGLE PLAN-VIEW MAP

Reports may include plan-view image layers with a "toggle" function. This allows the user to "toggle" layers on or off to view various types of Nondestructive Testing information, including ground penetrating radar, infrared thermography, and visual distress imaging and soundings detections on plan-view mappings.

Layers (mappings) can be overlaid onto deck plans & drawings if provided or imported into AutoCAD if requested. The “toggle” ability lets the user view and compare any number of combinations of desired detection types. For instance, the user can view infrared delamination detections individually or with ground penetrating radar delamination detections on the same plan-view map. This eliminates the need to view separate maps to compare detection types. This “toggle” method can be applied to any number of “layers” on the map.

Where this method becomes very effective is the addition of the high resolution visual plan-view map as a layer. This allows the user to view the detections separately on a plan/CAD drawing or view them with the actual surface of the bridge deck showing all of the deck details. This can help in visualizing where detections/anomalies are located on the bridge deck.
